I met a family of four (a mother and her three boys) just before Christmas. I had known her from High School, but hadn't seen her since. She was sitting at the gas station crying with her boys each eating a $.99 bag of chips. I pulled her to the side to say "hi" and see what was wrong. She had been out all week trying to find a way to get her boys a couple of items for Christmas. Nothing big and extravagant, just something for them to open Christmas morning so they don't feel forgotten about and don't feel the struggle that their Mom is going through. She had just moved them all back to Ohio from Texas to get away from an abusive relationship and had nothing but a place to sleep.
She said that all of the charities in the area were either out of toys or she had to complete a lot of forms in order to qualify to receive any gifts for her children. So many hoops to jump through just to get a toy. I posted on FB to see if anyone knew a way I could help this Mother out and within 10 min I was connected with Sean at 4'11 Foundation. After speaking with Sean via FB messenger I had his address and was on my way to his house within 15 min. Once I arrived he gave me a BAG FULL of toys for boys!!! No paperwork, no hoops, no appointments...children needed gifts for Christmas and he handed over toys for those children for Christmas. It just so happened that a couple of the items in the bag, a watch and a remote control car were items that the youngest and oldest had on their wish list. When I took the bag to the Mother I was greeted with hugs, tears and dozens of "Thank you"s. She said the 4'11 Foundation did more for her family in a matter of minutes than any of the larger organizations could do for her in a week of meetings and appointments.
God Bless Sean and the 4'11 Foundation!

I would like to thank the 411 Foundation for the help they've given not only to my family, but to countless others too! Like many other families, mine has faced some hard times. Without the 411 Foundation's selfless generosity, my kids would not have been able to open presents on Christmas morning two years in a row! And without the 411 Foundation, I don't know how my kids would've gotten school supplies last year!
I can't thank them enough for everything they've done! This is a foundation run by generous people with huge hearts! God bless the 411 Foundation for blessing others in need!

My name is Heather Richmond and you were kind enough to come and visit out Girl Scout troop a couple of weeks ago and share about your foundation. I wanted to share with an experience my daughter had because of you.
The Friday after you came and helped our troop make blessing bags, we were on our way to DeMonye's for their Haunted Greenhouse. My van was full of kids, my son, my two nephews, a neighbor and my daughter Bailey. We were in rush hour traffic and I did not even notice the man with the sign on the side of the road, but my little girl did. She read his sign asking for help and asked me if we had the blessing bag she made at Girl Scouts a couple of days before. I looked around the front of my van as we were stopped at the red light and sure enough the blessing bag was sitting on the front passenger seat. I asked her why she asked about the bag. She said, because I want to give it to that man. I looked up and saw the man holding the sign that said "homeless veteran, please help."
We pulled over to the side of the road and got out and gave him the bag. The man thanked us and accepted the bag. We got back in the van and drove away in complete silence. Bailey spoke up and said "mom, that made me feel so good just like Mr. Sean said it would." She has asked if we could make more so we can always have some on hand in our van. All of the other kids in the van were blown away and said they would like to make some as well.
I just wanted to thank you, because if it were not for the message you shared with our girls we would have not had this amazing experience. I believe this was a priceless moment that will leave an imprint on my daughter for the rest of her life. It also made an impression on the other kids that with us that I do not think they will ever forget.
